BEAM Interactive

Experience Designer April 2017 - Present

I am currently doing freelance work for BEAM interactive.

SapientRazorfish

Experience Designer, August 2015 - April 2017

I created interactive prototypes, annotated wireframes, site maps, and user flows to articulate and define digital experiences. Additionally, I designed stimuli for user testing, and prepare and present materials to clients. I have worked with Humana Inc., BJ’s Wholesale, Citizens Bank, Colonial Williamsburg, and Ad Council. I’ve also worked in the SapientNitro Accelerated Prototyping lab where I designed technology that maps noise pollution.

Carnegie Mellon Learning Environments Lab

Research Assistant, May 2015 - August 2015

Developed and validated interaction design patterns for an online mathematics tutor with Professor Peter Scupelli. These patterns were used to design more effective and engaging online math problems with the aim of producing positive learning outcomes. The study is being published by the National Science Foundation.

Carnegie Mellon School of Design

Teaching Assistant, August 2014 - December 2014

I assisted Professor Dan Boyarski with the Communication Design Studio I: Communicating with Typography. Primarily, I advised the students on their work and gave input on the class curriculum. I also helped Dan by giving presentations about supplemental material like storyboarding and script writing.

R/GA

Experience Design Intern, Summer 2014

Created wireframes, visual assets for pitches, and conducted research to define product strategies. I also built an interactive wireframe prototype to demonstrate navigational structure and interaction details to the client.

Groupon

Design Intern, Summer 2013

Designed visual assets for Groupon’s website, and developed maps and physical signage to establish an office way-finding system. Additionally, I collaborated with developers during an internal hack-a-thon to create a mobile application that elaborates upon the print components of the system.

Skeezel Press

Design Intern, Summer 2012

Coded and adapted the narrative, layout, text, and typography of an existing children’s picture book, Understanding Sam and Asperger’s Syndrome, into an eBook.
